CACE Carbon Credit Auction: A New Era in Carbon Trading

The Climate Action Center of Excellence (CACE) and Emsurge have launched a new carbon credit auction platform. This collaboration aims to facilitate transparent trading of Internationally Transferred Mitigation Outcomes (ITMOs) under Article 6.2. Interested parties must complete a Seller Checklist, submit project documents, register on Emsurge, sign the Seller Participation Clause, and review auction terms. Auctions will occur on the Emsurge platform, with bids submitted in real-time and results published immediately. The highest bidder secures each lot, and ITMOs will be delivered according to the agreed terms, ensuring transparency and fairness.
